What this website collects

No cookies at all

This site sets no cookie of any kind, so there is no banner to dismiss and nothing to consent to. It has no account, no session and nothing that varies from one visitor to the next, which is what makes that possible — it is a property of how little the site does, not a policy anybody has to keep.

What the server writes down

The web server keeps an ordinary access log — address, time, page, browser — as every web server does, and it is used to see that the site is up and to find what is broken. It is not joined to anything, not sold, and not sent to a third party.

What is not here

No analytics service, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no social widget, no embedded video, no external font service. Every file this page loads comes from this domain, which you can confirm in your browser’s network panel in about ten seconds.

The application and the sync service

BURSU Connection Manager and BURSUcloud are covered by their own policy, because they handle something this website never sees: your connections. The short version is that the application sends us no telemetry, and the sync service stores ciphertext it has no key for. Read that policy
